To Be Continued is a youth-led organization that provides students with a supportive space to hone their creative writing skills and gain recognition for their work. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment for both writers and readers — all profits go back into the organization. Our goal is to empower young individuals just like us by cultivating a vibrant community where they can grow as writers. To Be Continued is more than just a writing platform. It’s a community of storytellers and supporters — united in the pursuit of creative expression and passion.
Why We Started
Writing and reading can be an outlet for people. Many young people today have a deep love for fantasy—whether they like to admit it or not. Despite this though, there aren’t enough spaces that truly encourage and recognize young fantasy writers. Most writing platforms are geared towards adults and opportunities only recognize the most ‘brilliant’ writers — writing is no longer being fostered or encouraged at the pace it used to be.
The Mission
At To Be Continued…, our mission is simple: to provide a creative, supportive space where young writers can explore their imaginations, share their stories, and feel celebrated for their unique voices.
We believe that every child has a story to tell, and those stories deserve to be heard. By creating a platform that encourages young fantasy writers, we aim to empower the next generation of storytellers and foster a love for writing that lasts a lifetime.
People no longer write for themselves. Younger writers are often restrained. Writing is no longer fun.
Through TBC, we want to change that. We believe that everyone has a story that has yet to be told.
